- Shrnutí: After dying at the hands of Ryuk, Light Yagami woke up the day before he received the Death Note. Looking at his past actions, he decided to destroy the notebook. Yet, he failed to do so and a new Kira rises to punish criminals, just as he had once before. In order to stop them and all others who would walk the same path, he investigates these serial murders. He takes in an alias, Y, and joins in the cat-and-mouse game of L and Kira, acting perfectly in the middle.
